The Salford Dragon Boat Festival

Sunday 17th May 2020

Commiserations went to "Y CLUB" who after posting a time 0.48.62 in their third race (which put them into forth place and therefore Grand Final contention), were cruelly pushed into fifth place in the very last qualifying race by newcomers "Robocops", who put in a spectacular race to came in one second quicker with 0.47.62. In a thrilling Grand Final, all four teams crossed the line with just two seconds between. In forth place was the “Iron Oars” team who posted 0:58:17. Third place newcomers "Captain Crowther and his Merry Men" who posted 0:58:01 also made dragon boating history by being the first team to choose dragon boating ... as a Stag Do! In second place and just 0.75 of the second behind the winners was last year's Champions "The Hail Mary's" with 0:56:91., whilst newcomers "Robocops" went on to qualify as the new Dragon Boat Champions of Salford 20146 with a 0:56:15.

Thank you for all the teams taking part, we look forward to seeing you all again in 2017.
