The Salford Dragon Boat Festival

Featured Charities

For every charity that either enters or has one or more teams entering to support them, we will add that charity's name to the list below and link it to their home page.

Charity nomination - Online Entry Form:

Our online entry form will also list all the previously supported charities, but is not exclusive.  Teams will still be able to nominate their own charity, the only proviso being is that charity must be registered with the Charity's Commission.

Charity of the Year:

The charity that had the most teams entering the last event will be nominated to be the next Charity of the Year.  The benefits to being Charity of the Year are:

  • A proportion of all corporate entries will be dontaed to our Charity of the Year,

  • The Charity of the Year will be the only charity who is permitted to fund raise on the day.

  • The Charity of the Year will be the only charity whose web page will show as a child page under the 'Charities' tab.
